ER4043 TIG rods have a higher silicon content(12% silicon) than ER4043 (5% silicon) which allows for a higher level of fluidity and reduced shrinkage in the weld.

ER4047 yields a bright and clean welds. This alloy may can be used in high temperature applications as its added silicon content minimizes hot cracking and increases the welds shear strength.
